Grow That Poem! A Critical Poetry Workshop
Do you crave other eyes on your poems? Do you want to move your poetry drafts from good to fully-finished? Fully-polished? Fully-refined? Do you want to sharpen your own analytical revision skills, so you can apply those techniques to your own poems, beyond the confines of a class? If so, let me welcome you to Grow That Poem! A Critical Poetry Workshop.
This class is designed for poets who crave a lively discussion-based workshop environment, a place where poems move further and further towards finishedness. Classes stay small (maxing out at 8 students) so all voices can be heard, and all poems feel fully seen. Each poet will be workshopped twice during the six-week course, and the course will conclude with a celebratory virtual reading (the perfect way to impress your friends… or your
enemies)

"The mind acts, the mind wills a poem, often against our own will; somehow this happens, somehow a poem gets written in the middle of a chaotic holiday party that has just run out of ice, and it's your house."
